We have a very expanded lending library compared to the photos below. We are working on updating the blog with all the great new additions this spring. If you’re looking to try out a carrier, we have many selections to choose from! Our lending library is split between 4 different leaders, in different locations through Chicagoland. If there is a particular carrier you would like to try out at a meeting, please let us know via our group e-mail, yahoo group, or Facebook page!
We have a bunch of great carriers currently available to try on. Some of our newer additions over the last 6 months include Baby hawk Oh Snap buckle carrier, a regular Babyhawk mei tai, a Beco Gemini, an Ergo, a BOBA, a Neo Taupe, a SBP (sleeping baby productions) ring sling, a snuggybaby ring sling, snuggybaby stretchy wrap and kinderpacks in various sizes!
It is always free to try on carriers at each meeting. For those who would like to support our organization, we offer an optional BWI annual membership that will allow the member to check out a carrier each month (assuming they bring it back to the group within 30 days/1 month). This is a great opportunity to get a real life feel for how a certain carrier will work for you and your little one. In order to check out a carrier, you must be a member of the BWI.

Hi! I’m hoping to attend mtg on 12/20 in either Harvard or Grayslake. Currently looking for a wrap for my 3 week old… and wondering how your lending library works. (Relatively new to baby wearing… had a ring sling with padded rails that got some use with my 1st son.) Thanks for any feedback you can give!
